Hi guys! Another tasty and simple recipe for you today using a slow cooker. Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup! You can’t beat a classic chicken and noodle soup and this one is so hearty and delicious!
This recipe makes 6 portions but can easily be halved or doubled depending on what you need. If you don’t have a slow cooker this could definitely made on the hob in less time. What is great about the slow cooker is you can throw the dinner on and leave it and not worry about it. Also the flavours are always stronger and nice with the slow cooking! Saying that, on the hob will also be delicious!

Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup
Equipment
- Slow Cooker
- Chopping board
- Knife
- Weighing scales
- Spatula/Spoon
Ingredients
- 3 Chicken Breasts
- 35 grams Butter
- 1 White Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 3 small Carrots
- 2 stalks Celery
- 2 Bayleaves
- 2 sprigs Thyme
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 25 grams Fresh Parsley
- 2 or 3 Chicken Stock Pots
- 1 small can Sweetcorn Approx 150g
- Salt & Pepper
- Approx. 150 grams Broken up spaghetti
- Approx. 1 Liter Water Add more if needed
- A squeeze of lemon to taste
Instructions
- In your slow cooker add your chicken, onion, carrot, celery, bayleaf, oregano, thyme , salt & pepper, stock pots, water, garlic and butter. Mix and put to cook for 3 hours on high.
- After 3 hours remove your chicken and shred it. Add your shredded chicken back into your slow cooker then add in your parsley, spaghetti and sweetcorn. Mix then place back on for approximately 30 minutes or until your pasta is fully cooked.
- Remove your lid and add in a squeeze of lemon. Taste for seasoning and add more water if needed.
- Serve and enjoy!
