Protein Brownie Bites

Hey guys!! An absolutely delicious healthier recipe for you today, Protein Brownie Bites. A healthier version of a brownie packed with protein, the perfect sweet treat to hit those cravings but packed with goodness and low cal!

Normally ”protein brownies” are miserable but these are just delicious! They are only approx. 82 calories each depending on your protein powder. These are definitely going to be a regular bake of mine now for that sweet craving I get EVERYDAY!!

I used a chocolate protein powder in this recipe to give them that extra chocolate kick but you can use what you have. I also used peanut butter but you could use any nut butter your prefer.

Equipment

  • Silicone tray or cupcake tray & cases
  • Bowls
  • Spatula
  • Measuring spoons
  • Fork
  • Spoon
  • Weighing scales

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 small Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Peanut butter
  • 1 scoop Protein powder Preferably Chocolate flavoured – Any will work
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 20 grams Chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200C/ 180C Fan. Lightly grease your silicone mould or line your cupcake tray with cases.
  • In a bowl, mash your banana. Add in your peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla and egg. Mix until incorporated.
  • Fold in your cocoa powder, protein powder and baking powder until you have a smooth batter.
  • Place your mix into your mould or cases, sprinkle with chocolate chips then place in the oven for 12-15 minutes until baked.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool then tuck in!
