Hot Honey Salmon Bites

Hello everyone! A gorgeous air fryer recipe for you today, Hot Honey Salmon Bites! Crispy seasoned salmon bites covered in a homemade hot honey and sriracha mayo. Perfect served alone or on top of rice. The crispy salmon and hot honey just hits different!! I am in love with these.

I was seeing recipe similar to this all over Tiktok and I just knew I had to make my own version. They take a few minutes to put together and a few minutes to cook in the air fryer, for a perfect snack or served for dinner over some rice, noodles whatever you like!

I have included a recipe for hot honey below too, a decent sized batch so you can use it again and again on anything you like, I LOVE it on pizza!

Hot Honey Salmon Bites

  • Air fryer
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Bowls
  • Measuring spoons


Hot honey

  • 2 tbsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 250 grams Honey

Salmon bites

  • 2 Large Darnes Salmon
  • 50 grams Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Ground corriander
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha mayo


Hot Honey

  • Place your honey and chilli flakes in a small pot. Bring to a simmer while constantly stirring.
  • Simmer for approximately 2 minutes then switch off the heat.
  • Mix in your vinegar then leave to cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Sieve your honey into a storage jar to remove the chilli flakes. Leave to cool then enjoy drizzled on anything you like!

Salmon Bites

  • Preheat your air fryer to 200C.
  • In a large bowl, add in everything but your salmon. Mix well until everything is combined and you have a lovely seasoned bread crumbs mix.
  • On a chopping board, cut your salmon in to small chunks approx. 2cm x 2cm.
  • Add your salmon chunks into the bowl of seasoned breadcrumbs then toss until all coated evenly.
  • Place your coated salmon chunks into the air fryer and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Place into a serving bowl then drizzle with your hot honey and sriracha mayo. Optional Serve with a garish of coriander, flakey salt and a slice of lime for squeezing.
  • Enjoy!
